• The improved forefoot mesh and redesigned overlays enhance breathability and reduce irritation. 

The Shadow 2 uses Mizunos softer U4icX foam in the heel for a softer landing and the slightly firmer U4ic foam throughout the rest of the midsole for durable shock absorption. Between the two foams lies a plastic wave plate that assists the foam at absorbing impact while also increasing the shoe's responsiveness.
